An experienced midfielder wanted by Thomas Frank at Tottenham has made a decision on his future ahead of the January window.
Several sources have reported that Frank wants Spurs to prioritise signing players with Premier League experience in January.
One of the players on the Lilywhites’ radar is thought to be a 28-year-old who forged a big reputation in the English top-flight before moving to Saudi Arabia.
It emerged last month that Tottenham are keen on bringing Ruben Neves back to the Premier League, but the North London club are expected to have a battle on their hands for the player.

Man United and Newcastle set sights on Tottenham target Ruben Neves
CaughtOffside have now claimed that Neves has decided that he wants to return to the Premier League in January.
The former Wolves man and his representatives have given English clubs the green light to make a move for him next month.
However, the outlet makes no mention of Tottenham Hotspur, instead naming Man United and Newcastle United as the two clubs vying for Neves.
The report claims that Ruben Amorim values the Portuguese star’s ability to dictate play, recycle possession efficiently, and provide defensive balance, while the Magpies view the player as a great market opportunity.
What is Al-Hilal’s stance on Neves?
CaughtOffside say that the experienced midfielder has already turned down a new contract offered by Al-Hilal.
With his current deal ending next year, the Saudi club want to avoid losing him for free and have thus decided to cash in on him in January.
The publication adds that Inter Milan and Juventus are also watching Neves’ situation, but the player’s top preference is to return to the Premier League.
