Tottenham Hotspur are considering replacing Thomas Frank with a former Premier League manager, who received plenty of plaudits for his attacking style of play during his time in England.
It has emerged over recent weeks that the likes of Mauricio Pochettino, Marco Silva and Oliver Glasner are all on Tottenham’s radar.
Recently sacked Chelsea boss, Enzo Maresca, is also thought to have admirers at the North London club.
However, the Lilywhites are not expected to make any managerial change immediately, with Tottenham expected to assess Thomas Frank’s work at the end of the season.

Tottenham considering move for former Brighton boss
It has now been reported by TEAMtalk that Spurs are considering a move for Marseille boss Roberto De Zerbi, who is out of contract at the Ligue 1 side in the summer.
The Italian led Brighton to their highest-ever Premier League finish and got plenty of plaudits for the brave, front-footed approach he used during his time at the Amex Stadium.
The report claims that De Zerbi feels he is now ready for a major challenge and is drawn to the prospect of another stint in English football.
If Tottenham feel at the end of the season that Frank has not made enough progress, they could press ahead with a move for the former Brighton boss.
Roberto De Zerbi wants to join Spurs’ Premier League rival
TEAMtalk say that Tottenham are expected to face competition from Man United for De Zerbi, whose name carries significant weight within the Manchester club’s decision-making structure under INEOS.
The 46-year-old could be the Red Devils’ top choice to replace Ruben Amorim in the summer after the club opted to install an interim head coach for the rest of the campaign.
The publication adds that De Zerbi is ‘very interested’ in becoming the next permanent manager of Man United, with the Marseille boss seeing the Old Trafford hot seat as the ‘ideal next step in his career’.
