Tottenham Hotspur are now weighing up important recalls on several of their brightest academy prospects following an underwhelming opening to the campaign.
Tottenham Hotspur are a side looking to position itself as one of the top teams in the Premier League after a few shaky years.
Creating a side capable of competing now remains vital, but as a big club, keeping an eye on the future is equally important.
Youngsters remain part of the fabric of the north London club, who have looked to offer players with potential a pathway to first-team football in north London and abroad.

Tottenham make decision on academy loan recalls
Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall continue to fight for a spot in the first team at Spurs, while the likes of Luka Vuskovic, Mikey Moore, Jamie Donley, Damola Ajayi and others have been loaned out to gain necessary game time.
The Daily Mail are now reporting that Tottenham are set to recall Jamie Donley and Damola Ajayi from their respective loan spells at Stoke and Doncaster in search of more minutes.
Donley, who impressed last season while with Leyton Orient after winning their player of the season award, has not started a Championship game for Stoke all season and has not appeared since October.
This lack of involvement in first-team matches has led Spurs to reconsider his loan, with the 20-year-old potentially heading back to north London this winter before being loaned elsewhere.
Spurs reassess next steps for Donley and Ajayi
Meanwhile, Ajayi has made 19 appearances for Doncaster, including one against Spurs in the Carabao Cup, but he has started just once in League One.
This lack of game time, along with his team’s alarming decline since losing that cup tie at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, has seen Rovers boss Grant McCann seek to make changes in January.
It is understood that Spurs will now look for another move for both Donley and Ajayi in the winter transfer window.
