Stuttgart have a €20m (£17.4m) purchase option for El Khannouss this summer, which they are expected to take up.
However, with Spurs keen to sign him, the young attacker could face some ‘tough choices’ at the end of the season.

Tottenham are not the only English side tracking the midfielder, who is also on the radar of Leeds United, who were keen to take him to Elland Road last summer as well.
The report says that Crystal Palace also showed interest in El Khannouss last summer, and they continue to admire the player.
Finally, Newcastle United have become the most recent club to enter the race for the Moroccan, with the Magpies viewing him as a potential ‘bargain’ signing.
