Thomas Frank is hoping for Tottenham additions in the January transfer window following the signing of Conor Gallagher

Tottenham are still on the hunt for more January signings after the arrival of Conor Gallagher. The English midfielder arrived from Atletico Madrid earlier this week in a £34.7million move with Spurs beating Premier League rivals Aston Villa to his signature.

A club statement for John Heitinga joining as Thomas Frank's assistant coach followed the Gallagher transfer announcement following his dismal spell as Ajax head coach.

In terms of more transfers, attacking additions into north London are expected to be the priority following long-term injuries to Richarlison and Mohammed Kudus. The Lilywhites also sold Brennan Johnson to Crystal Palace earlier this month.

Tottenham have also sanctioned several other departures with Damola Ajayi joining Bromley, Jamie Donley signing for Oxford United, Manor Solomon moving to Fiorentina, Borussia Monchengladbach taking on Kota Takai's services, and Yang min-Hyeok swapping Portsmouth for Coventry City.

Savinho of Manchester City has been strongly linked with a move to Tottenham but with the winger now injured, attention has seeming switched to another attacker on the fringes of Pep Guardiola's side. Tottenham are also believed to be in the race alongside several others for a Premier League striker.

At the other end of the pitch, Spurs have already wrapped up a deal with Santos for Brazilian left-back Souza. With all of that being, football.london has rounded up the latest Tottenham transfer news and rumours.

'Interest' in £59m Man City star

Tottenham are said to hold an interest in Omar Marmoush with Villa and Galatasaray. That is the claim from Turkish journalist Cagatay Celik, via Haber Sarikirmizi, as he notes that Galatasaray have been offered the chance to sign him on loan, but there is one stumbling block to that potential deal.

In quotes collated by Sport Witness, he said: "George Gardi has proposed Manchester City’s Egyptian footballer Omar Marmoush to Galatasaray. Aston Villa and Tottenham are interested in Marmoush, whose priority is to stay in England. The Egyptian footballer is only considering leaving Manchester City on loan."

Marmoush has played just 389 minutes this season with one goal and one assist. Despite Egypt being knocked out in the AFCON semi-finals, he has remained at the tournament for a third-place play-off against Nigeria.

City signed him from Eintracht Frankfurt in last season's January transfer window for £59million.

Striker claim made

Tottenham are one of six Premier League clubs with a strong interest in Wolves star Jorgen Strand Larsen, as per TeamTalk.

Newcastle United, Everton, Nottingham Forest, West Ham United and Leeds United have been listed as the other clubs with the latter making an enquiry, according to The Athletic.

However, their report has made it clear that there is yet to be an offer submitted and there is no guarantee the move develops considering the competition for his signature.

The 25-year-old has endured a challenging campaign at Wolves this season with just six goals scored from 23 appearances and only one of those in the Premier League.
