Tottenham will introduce a new face to the crowd ahead of their match against Bournemouth and then will try to continue their fine start to the Premier League season on Saturday.

The Spurs supporters will get their first glimpse of 22-year-old Xavi Simons after the £52million new signing was snapped up from RB Leipzig on Friday on a five-year contract with an option for another two. He will bring creativity and dribbling ability to Frank's side but the Tottenham head coach cannot call on Xavi just yet.

That's because the former PSG man signed after the deadline to register for the game against the Cherries and is also awaiting his work permit anyway. Xavi is set to be present at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday to be unveiled in an appearance on the pitch ahead of the game for his new fans.

The north London club will then be looking to maintain their perfect start to the Premier League season with five goals, two clean sheets and maximum points so far from the games against Burnley and Manchester City.

Our Spurs correspondent Alasdair Gold is at the match in N17. Scroll down for his latest updates from the Premier League clash with the Cherries at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
