Tottenham Hotspur are looking to give their supporters some Christmas cheer as they welcome reigning champions Liverpool to N17 in the Premier League on Saturday.
Spurs had been starting to get some momentum going in their campaign with the draw at Newcastle followed by home wins against Brentford and Slavia Prague in the Premier League and Champions League, only to follow that up with a stinker of a performance away against Nottingham Forest last weekend in a 3-0 defeat.
Now Thomas Frank has had the rarity of six days to work with his players on the Hotspur Way training pitches ahead of the visit of Arne Slot's side so they should be recharged and fully prepared for a Liverpool team that has started to find its groove again after the club's stuttering start to their title defence this season.
