Tottenham will be over the moon at Mikey Moore’s ‘electric’ and ‘phenomenal’ turnaround at Rangers

Tottenham loanee Mikey Moore has started to win over Rangers fans in Scotland, as his recent performances under new boss Danny Rohl have sparked a wave of excitement among the Ibrox faithful.

Since completing his loan move, Tottenham Hotspur loanee Mikey Moore has been finding his feet in Scotland, after a difficult early start.

Moore’s first few months in Glasgow with Rangers were not the best, with the 18-year-old managing just two goal involvements in his opening eleven games.

However, since the departure of Russell Martin and the appointment of Danny Rohl, the youngster looks to have turned a corner, much to the delight of Rangers supporters.

Rangers fans praise Tottenham loanee Mikey Moore

Moore once more featured from the bench, but despite Rangers losing 3-1 to rivals Celtic in the League Cup semi-final, the teenager’s performance did catch the eye of Rangers fans, who were quick to hand out praise to the youngster.

Speaking on his performance, one fan said: “Mikey Moore has been terrific.” Another added: “Defeat for Mikey Moore in the Old Firm derby but he is slowly turning a corner at Rangers. Been a good week for the THFC loanee. Plenty of time for Moore to still be a big success in Scotland. Keep going.”

Another supporter wrote: “Mikey Moore must have not liked Russell Martin’s tactics because in the last two games he’s really found his feet and looks a proper addition to the team now. You can see the confidence growing in him.”

One more commented: “Do not know what Rohl is feeding Mikey Moore but he has been unbelievable since he came in.”

Another opined: “Mikey Moore should never be benched for Aasgaard again. Phenomenal when he came on for Rangers today.”

Another fan said: “It says a lot when an 18-year-old is our biggest threat. Fair play to Mikey Moore, right now he’s the first name on the team sheet.”

One more added: “Mikey Moore appreciation post. Not used correctly under Martin and been on the fringes. Changed the game today and should be starting from now on.”

On his performance against Celtic, one fan said: “Mikey Moore has been electric since he came on.”

Another Tottenham fan wrote: “Mikey Moore has changed this game, what a talent.”

A supporter stated, “Mikey Moore has had a big impact lately. Long may it continue. He’s got so much potential and will only get better.”

And a final Tottenham fan added: “Mikey Moore is going to be a serious player in the game. We are not going to see the best of him at Rangers obviously, but I’ve been really impressed that an 18-year-old kid has not gone into a shell. He’s still wanting it, carrying it with purpose. Big part to play between now and May.”

Spurs will be monitoring Moore’s Rangers progress

Tottenham will no doubt be monitoring their youngster’s development out in Scotland, as they would be hoping he can return to N17 a much better player.

The teenager has yet to start a game from the off consistently under his new boss, and if he is to keep improving, that would be a logical next step.

Following his impressive display against Celtic, Moore will now be looking forward to leaving a mark when Rangers take on AS Roma in the Europa League.
