Two transfers Arsenal can complete in next few days as fresh opportunity emerges

The summer transfer window may now well be closed for Arsenal - and their Premier League rivals - but the north London club still have a few days remaining to do some transfer business and conclude the shaping of their squad for the 2025/26 campaign.

Arsenal were one of the busier clubs over the transfer window, in terms of incomings. The deadline day arrival of defender Piero Hincapie took the incoming count at the Emirates Stadium to eight as Mikel Arteta built his squad for the new season.

As well as incomings, there were also also exits for some of the fringe players of their squad. Nuno Tavares, Jakub Kiwior and Reiss Nelson and Oleksandr Zinchenko were among those to leave - either on loan or permanent deals in the summer transfer window.

While Arsenal now have to wait until the January transfer window to open to bring in any more new players from other clubs, the Gunners still have a few days to conduct some outgoing business. That's due to transfer windows remaining open in different places around the world.

In Turkey the deadline is on September 12, meaning there are just a few days to conduct any business. In Saudi Arabia, the window remains open until September 23 - while the windows in Greece (September 12) and Serbia (September 17) are also still open.

One player who has been linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium this summer is winger Leandro Trossard. Turkish side Fenerbahce were one of the sides linked with an interest in the 30-year-old.

Trossard recently put pen-to-paper on a new deal at the Emirates Stadium, but the length doesn't extend beyond the 2027 cut-of date of his former deal. The Belgian has made just one appearance off the bench so far this season, and has been an unused substitute for the other two Premier League games.

If Fenerbahce do make a late move for the winger, Arsenal could have a decision to make, especially if the player pushes for a move himself in search of more regular game-time.

Another player who could go in search of game-time is youngster Charles Sagoe Jr. The 21-year-old is currently a regular for Arsenal's development team and has scored twice and provided two assists in his first three games of the season.

He has previously spent time out on loan with Swansea City and Shrewsbury Town, to build up more first-team experience, but failed to be a regular starter for each team. A loan move away to team overseas, maybe a lower Turkish side, or a side in Greece, could give him the first team experience needed.

The transfer window remaining open in those countries could just be the opportunity that the youngster needs before returning to Arsenal with the hope of breaking into the first-team picture.
