Two transfers Arsenal could complete this week after fresh interest emerges

Arsenal could be about to have another busy week in the transfer market.

The Gunners have already been active in the transfer window this summer as they prepare for another Premier League title challenge.

Mikel Arteta has added six new signings to Arsenal's squad this summer with Viktor Gyokeres, Noni Madueke, Christian Norgaard, Martin Zubimendi, Cristhian Mosquera and Kepa Arrizabalaga all moving to the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal have until September 1 to complete their transfer business for the summer, but the next week could also prove decisive with more deals potentially on the horizon.

Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze continues to be linked with a move to Arsenal this summer. Reports have claimed that the England international's £68million release clause in his contract has now expired, which would force the Gunners to negotiate a fee with the Eagles if they wish to agree a deal.

Jeremy Jacquet has also emerged as a potential target for Arsenal this summer. The Rennes centre-back is reportedly a player of interest to the Gunners, according to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, although whether a deal could happen this week remains to be seen.

In terms of players who could leave Arsenal this week, there have not been too many rumours linking members of the squad with an exit from North London. That may change as the week goes on and the Premier League season moves ever closer.

Arsenal will host Villarreal in a pre-season friendly at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday before taking on Athletic Club in their final warm-up match before the new campaign on Saturday evening.

Arteta and Co. will then be fully focused on their first match of the new Premier League season, which will see them take on Manchester United at Old Trafford on August 17.
