Mohammed Kudus continues his impressive start to the season, with the Tottenham man delivering an assist for Ghana in their World Cup qualifier against Chad.

Kudus joined Tottenham from West Ham in a £55m deal earlier this summer, and he has been one of the Lilywhites’ best players so far this season.

The winger is still waiting for his first goal for the North London club, but he already has two assists, setting up Richarlison for a brace in the 3-0 win over Burnley.

Kudus admitted that he was not at his best against Bournemouth, but the winger has seemingly found his mojo during the international break.

The 24-year-old started on the right in Ghana’s away clash at Chad, and it did not take long for him to make his mark on the game.

The Tottenham Hotspur winger squared up the defender one-v-one and beat his man with ease before producing a low cross into the box that was tapped into the empty net by Leicester City striker Jordan Ayew.

Unfortunately, the goal was not enough for the Black Stars to take all three points, with the home side netting a 89th minute equaliser to get a share of the points.

Kudus has work to do to prove critics wrong

Some pundits, such as Roy Keane, have said that they are not completely convinced by Kudus, citing his inconsistency at West Ham.

The winger has arguably not kicked on the way he was expected to since his brilliant showing in the last World Cup.

Now that he is in a high-profile club and will be playing Champions League football, he has an opportunity to evolve into one of the best attackers in European football, and Spurs fans will be hoping that Thomas Frank is the man to get the best out of the former Hammers star.
