Tottenham loanee Yang Min-hyeok continues to build momentum at Portsmouth after finding the net for the second time in a week.

Tottenham Hotspur have since sent Yang Min-hyeok out on loan, and they would be hoping that he has a better spell this time around.

The youngster had a brief spell at West Bromwich Albion last season, and while it was a good learning curve, Spurs would want a lot more from the Korean this campaign.

He has started life at Portsmouth well, having grabbed a goal last week, and now he has added to his goal tally once more this weekend.

Tottenham’s Yang Min-hyeok scores again for Portsmouth

Portsmouth faced Middlesbrough on Saturday and Yang was named in the starting eleven for the Championship side.

The Korean winger, however, repaid the faith of his manager by scoring the only goal and winning goal of the league fixture.

It was a well-taken goal by the youngster, who met a cross from the right by Jordan Williams, striking cleanly on the volley to find the back of the net.

Yang’s growing influence at Portsmouth

A goal is obviously great for the youngster’s confidence, who would be hoping he can continue to get consistent minutes in the side from here on.

Yang Min-hyeok has now started three games in a row, getting 74 minutes against Ipswich, 63 against Watford, and now 78 against Middlesbrough.

It seems like he is starting to impress and adapt, and even Tottenham fans have been left encouraged by Yang’s performances.

Spurs will certainly be pleased to see him finding rhythm at the senior level, especially in such a demanding division.
