Tottenham starlet Tyrese Hall continues to show his goalscoring prowess, with his latest strike ensuring that Notts County stay within touching distance of the top of the table.

Tottenham have many outstanding young players out on loan this season, while also putting in some impressive performances at U21 level.

The turnaround of Mikey Moore at Rangers and the incredibly consistent performances of Luka Vuskovic at Hamburg may have stolen the limelight, but another Spurs starlet is quietly continuing to do impressive things in League Two.

The player in question is Tyrese Hall, who has scored as many goals this season as Richarlison and Mathys Tel combined since his loan switch to Notts County in the summer.

The central midfielder was once again one of the stars of the show for Notts County as they emerged with a 2-1 away win from Cheltenham on Monday.

Hall doubled the away side’s lead on 27 minutes, with a sublime goal just four minutes after Alassana Jatta had put them 1-0 up.

The Tottenham Hotspur academy graduate produced a great first touch while under pressure from a defender in the box, before shifting the ball and placing it in the far corner across the goalkeeper to take his goal tally to six this season.

That means the Spurs youngster has more goals this season than Joao Palhinha (4) and Rodrigo Bentancur (1) put together.

Spurs face a big decision regarding Tyrese Hall

The fact that the 20-year-old has six goals from central midfield is no easy feat and shows that he has the natural ability to time his runs into the box and finish.

Earlier this year, Jermain Defoe expressed his surprise that Hall has not made his Tottenham debut yet, with the former Spurs academy coach rating the youngster very highly.

The midfielder looks too good for League Two, and Tottenham now potentially face a difficult decision on whether to recall him in January and send him on loan to a League One or a Championship side.
