Wayne Rooney said that it's a worrying time for Arne Slot and Liverpool at the moment after the Reds' winless start to 2026 in the Premier League continued.
Liverpool is currently on a 12-game unbeaten run in all competitions, but six of those results have been draws, including four in the last five games.
The Reds' latest disappointing result came on Saturday, as Burnley emerged from Anfield with a point – which means that Slot's men have failed to beat all three promoted teams at Anfield this season.
Liverpool remains inside the top four of the Premier League standings, but only by a point after Manchester United's win over Manchester City earlier in the day.

"When you look at [the game stats] it's a good performance, they should have won the game. It shows they haven't been clinical enough today.
"I've been critical of Liverpool throughout the season, they've not been consistent enough. They won their first five but needed late goals to win them.
"They've not flowed like they have last season, they've not got that aura or chemistry about the team like they did last season.
"It's a worrying time. It's not the end of the world for Liverpool and Arne Slot, but it's a worrying time."

Some supporters booed after the final whistle in Liverpool's draw with Burnley, which was a sign of the discontent that has grown this term.
Arne Slot was asked about the reaction of those supporters in a post-game press conference and said that he understood their frustrations.
"in my head it wasn’t a boo, but in my head it was frustration as well," Slot said. "We are Liverpool and we play against Burnley – and we have to give them credit [for] how they defended, cleared balls off the line, all the things you want to see if you are a Burnley manager.
"Players that try to do everything to prevent us from scoring – but if we, as Liverpool, are not disappointed anymore by having a draw at home against Burnley then something is completely wrong.
"I completely understand the frustration. I can tell you I have the same and the players definitely have the same frustration as the fans have."
