1 day ago 5

Liverpool will be hoping to be among the eight clubs in the quarterfinal draw for the Carabao Cup.

The Reds take on Crystal Palace at Anfield on Wednesday, with Arne Slot’s players aiming to put their dismal Premier League form behind them as they look to book another trip to Wembley this season.

Should Liverpool find a way past Palace, then it won’t have long to wait to find out its opponent in the quarterfinals of the competition, with the draw for the next round due to take place shortly after Wednesday's game on Merseyside. Five teams are set to secure their places in the next round later, with three sides already safely through after playing on Tuesday.

Here’s all you need to know about the Carabao Cup quarterfinal draw.

The draw for the quarterfinals takes place on Wednesday, October 29, following the final set of fourth-round fixtures, including Liverpool's tie against Crystal Palace.

The draw will take place following the conclusion of Newcastle's clash with Tottenham, and is expected to start at around 10:30 pm UK time (6:30 pm Eastern Time, 3:30 pm Pacific Time in the United States).

The draw could be delayed though if that game goes to a penalty shootout.
