Tottenham run the risk of being priced out of a summer move for Yan Diomande, who has 13 goal contributions this season.
Tottenham Hotspur are big fans of Yan Diomande and even had him among the names at the top of their transfer wishlist in the winter window.
The wide forward, capable of playing across the frontline, has grabbed an impressive eight goals and five assists in 21 appearances for RB Leipzig as it stands.
With such impressive form, it is no surprise that Diomande is attracting interest from several clubs across Europe.

Tottenham could be priced out of Yan Diomande summer move
Spurs were keen on landing Diomande in the winter window, but RB Leipzig’s £87 million price tag ultimately scared the Lilywhites off, with reports that he was not expected to move mid-season.
The summer transfer window is now fast approaching, and Football Insider have revealed where Tottenham stand in the pursuit of the RB Leipzig man.
According to Pete O’Rourke, it is understood that Spurs are set to be priced out of a move for Yan Diomande in the summer window.
Explaining the situation and the scale of the financial hurdle, O’Rourke claims that the winger’s valuation could prove prohibitive for multiple suitors, including Tottenham.
“Yeah, I think he is going be one of the most sought-after players probably in the summer transfer window.
“I think it was just too early for him to move in the January transfer window, and his price tag was probably prohibitive for a number of clubs.
“Spurs are admirers of Diomande but I think obviously his price tag will be a big obstacle to clear for them.
“RB Leipzig were looking around £80 million plus for him, and I think that might be a bit too rich for Tottenham.”
Spurs face stiff competition from clubs across Europe for Diomande
Spurs did not splash the cash in the winter window and could very much go on a spending spree if the owners keep to their talk about showing ambition.
However, it is very unlikely that Tottenham spend big and splash £80 million on a teenager, given that the most they have spent on a player in their history is about £60 million, spent on Dominic Solanke.
There is stiff competition for Diomande, with Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain and Liverpool all in the picture. It was even reported by CaughtOffside that Liverpool are in pole position to land Diomande.
