Fabio Paratici is on his way out of Tottenham Hotspur and the reason for his expected departure has now been revealed.
Tottenham Hotspur were supposed to be starting afresh this season, with the departure of long-term chairman Daniel Levy.
However, ENIC ultimately still run the club, while Fabio Paratici was not new to Spurs, having already had a role there in the past.
There were changes made to Tottenham’s structure, as Paratici became a co-sporting director alongside Johan Lange, but this is already set to end after a matter of months.

Fabio Paratici is leaving Tottenham due to Thomas Frank
Paratici’s likely departure from Spurs has left supporters scratching their heads in confusion, but the cause for his move to Fiorentina has now been revealed.
The Athletic have reported that the Italian was against the appointment of Thomas Frank and he instead wanted Tottenham to hire a manager of his choosing. However, Spurs are looking to stick with Frank for now, causing Paratici to move on.
This has come as a surprise to sources in the football industry who believed Lange and Frank would be first out of the door before Paratici.
Paratici wanted to replace Frank with Igor Tudor
With Frank failing miserably, Paratici wanted Tottenham to approach Igor Tudor who currently manages Juventus. Despite this, the club are not looking to replace their boss at this point in time.
This decision could come back to haunt them as Lange’s responsibilities will increase, despite the fact that he was slammed for his inactivity in the transfer window last season.
It also means Spurs are sticking with a manager who cannot win matches. Right now, it is not easy trying to figure out what Tottenham’s plan is for the future.
