Arsenal could momentarily move 10 points ahead of Liverpool in the Premier League title table if it beats Burnley this weekend.
The Reds are set to take on Aston Villa at Anfield later in the day. Gabriel Martinelli and William Saliba both picked up knocks in the Gunners' win over Crystal Palace a week or so ago, and the former is expected to miss out here. Arteta was unable to confirm for sure whether Saliba would be back.
"No, I think we have the same ones [available]," the Arsenal manager outlined in his pre-match press conference with the assembled media. "Martinelli is still out. Saliba, we have to wait and see."
Arsenal will definitely be missing captain Martin Odegaard, forward Kai Havertz, and winger Noni Madueke. Striker Gabriel Jesus is a long-term absentee.
However, Arteta is hopeful of having at least some of those players back soon. He has big fixtures coming up next month, including against Spurs, Chelsea, and Bayern Munich, the latter in the Champions League.
"Weeks, and some of them pretty soon, hopefully," Arteta said on when that group might return. "It is difficult to put a game on it; we have the [November] international break."

Declan Rice and Riccardo Calafiori were taken off with minor issues against Crystal Palace. Bukayo Saka, meanwhile, struggled to train in the build-up to that fixture due to illness.
All were involved in the matchday squad midweek against Brighton in the League Cup, however, and are therefore back available again for this one.
In the United States, the game will be shown on USA Network and available to stream via NBC.
In the United Kingdom, as it falls in the 3pm blackout (kick off is 8am PT and 11am ET), it will not be televised. Fans will have to wait for the highlights, which will be posted on Sky Sports' YouTube channel after the final whistle.
"Maintain the level of urgency, the concentration, the focus, the ambition that we are showing every game," Arteta said when asked what Arsenal needed to do to retain its place at the top of the table.
"Every game brings different challenges. Sometimes we have to be very patient, some other times we have to have a different approach.
"The game against Burnley is going to be really tough. They are extremely well-coached. I know Scott [Parker] really well and what he’s done with the club and with this team, it’s formidable.
"When you look at all the games that I see, five of the last games that they played, a very, very tough team to beat."
