Wilson Odobert has started just three Premier League games for Tottenham this season, yet the young winger insists he is not concerned about his minutes on the pitch, despite strong competition for places under Thomas Frank.
Wilson Odobert has been in fine form of late. The 20-year-old has registered a goal and an assist in his last two competitive appearances for Tottenham.
Odobert found the net against Copenhagen before coming off the bench to assist in the Premier League clash with Manchester United.
The Frenchman has already enjoyed more involvement this season compared to the previous campaign, which was disrupted by injury.
Reflecting on his progress, he opened up about his current game time and his determination to keep pushing for opportunities.

Wilson Odobert speaks on Tottenham playing time
Speaking to RMC Sport, Odobert admitted that he remains calm about his current role and is focused on continuing to work hard for his chances.
The 20-year-old has started six times for Tottenham this season, with three of his starts coming in the Premier League and Champions League, respectively.
He has had to compete for a place on the left at Spurs with Brennan Johnson, Mathys Tel and Xavi Simons, the other players he has had to compete with for gametime this season.
Speaking on his chances of more play time, he said: “I don’t see why I wouldn’t have more opportunities later on. And I’m going to work hard to do more too.
“Frankly, we’re not setting any limits because, well, we want to go as far as possible in every way. Personally, I’m not worried at all about playing time, because I know that if I work hard, if I do things right, I don’t see why I wouldn’t get more. So, there you have it.
“I’m simply telling myself this in my thesis; it’s just stressing out for nothing. So, I just think, if I’m given something, I eat my plate, and when I’ve finished eating, I’ll ask for more. I think that’s what I need to do.”
Odobert focused on improvement under Thomas Frank
Odobert’s confidence and self-awareness will please Thomas Frank, who has handed him more minutes this term, yet the young winger is clearly not satisfied with just being part of the squad rotation.
He explained that he intends to continue improving every aspect of his game to earn more responsibility in the side.
“I’ll do even more, I’ll work even harder,” he added.
“I believe I have even more confidence in myself than that. I need to take on even more responsibility, I think, and that’s what it will all come down to.
“So, I’m not really setting myself a goal target. Any assist is fine. I’m going to do things right and win matches, that’s what motivates me.”
