Arsenal take on Wolves at Molineux as they look to move seven points clear at the top of the Premier League table. Manchester City will not be able to reply until their clash with Crystal Palace is rearranged following both title hopefuls reaching the Carabao Cup final.
There was good news regarding Riccardo Calafiori, whom Mikel Arteta confirmed was fit to return, while Martin Odegaard and Kai Havertz are not yet ready to come back. Mikel Merino remains out while Max Dowman is again in training.
For Wolves, this remains an important game despite the overwhelming feeling that relegation is inevitable. However, their match with Crystal Palace on Sunday is by far and away a bigger game for the relegation battlers and so whether Rob Edward prioritises that remains to be seen.
The Gunners on the other hand have the North London Derby. However, in their case, every single game has huge importance because dropping any points in any game is massively detrimental to their title hopes, particularly here.
Updates to come in our football.london matchday live blog from Arsenal reporter Tom Canton from the ground…
