Reported Liverpool target Yan Diomande has made a massive decision ahead of the summer transfer window by signing with a new agency.

The RB Leipzig winger has emerged as one of the most highly-rated forwards in Europe just six months into his career with the Bundesliga side. Having signed with the club last summer from LaLiga outfit Leganes, the 19-year-old has scored eight goals and contributed six assists in 21 games across all competitions.

His impressive performances has led to reports that not only could he be on the move this summer but it's the reigning Premier League champions who could be in for him. Previous reports claimed that the Reds had already begun conversations with Diomande over a possible transfer, according to Sky Sports Switzerland.

While the likes of Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with Diomande, it seems like the winger himself has a preference to represent the Reds.

In a TikTok video that was shared on social media in recent months, the Ivorian admitted he wishes a move to Liverpool comes to fruition at some point during his career. "I want to play at Anfield, I want to play for Liverpool," he reportedly said.

"I’m a big Liverpool fan. My father’s dream is to see me play for Liverpool." A suggested value of $118 million (£88M) for Diomande's services has been reported with the teenager remaining under contract until 2030.

It was on Friday that it was revealed that Diomande signed with Roc Nation Sports International as his new agency in what could be a precursor to a significant summer move. Predominantly a right-winger, he very may well be a the long-term replacement of Mohamed Salah.

The 33-year-old has endured a disappointing season thus far and ahead of Liverpool's mammoth fixture against Manchester City, former Reds star Joe Cole admitted the Egyptian could prove to be a "problem" in the Anfield clash.

"The first 30 minutes of the Newcastle game [last weekend], Liverpool were taken apart, it could’ve been 2-0," Cole said. "After that, they were sublime. I think the problem for Arne Slot is Mo Salah. Hugo Ekitike looks like he’s the type of player that would benefit from having a starring role, but when Mo plays, the ball goes to him all the time because he’s been so good.

"This will be the last three months at Liverpool for Mo Salah. I think he’ll leave at the end of the season and walk out with being an all-time great at the club. Going forward, Arne Slot is going to have to find somewhere to adjust the system of how his team play."
