Chelsea and Manchester United will go head-to-head in the Premier League this weekend with both clubs having players on the sidelines
Both Chelsea and Manchester United will be without some key players for this weekend’s fixture in the Premier League. The Blues go into the game looking to return to winning ways after their 3-0 home defeat to Manchester City last weekend.
Liam Rosenior’s side currently lie in sixth place in the Premier League table and are four points behind fifth-placed Liverpool, who occupy the final Champions League qualification spot.
Chelsea were without a number of players for their defeat to City at the weekend, and that is still expected to be the case when they host the Red Devils at Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening.
Reece James remains a doubt for Chelsea with a hamstring injury that kept the club captain on the sidelines for the last four matches across all competitions, including the last two Premier League games.

"Trevoh trained today, not quite fully, modified and we'll make a decision on him but he's very, very close. Reece is a little bit further away," Rosenior said.
Enzo Fernandez is also in contention to return to the squad, with Rosenior providing an update on the midfielder's availability after he was dropped for the defeat to City.
"It's crazy to say what the starting XI will be two days before a very big game," he said. "Enzo [Fernandez] has been training with the group, he's been training very, very well and it's just business as usual in terms of the selection for the game."
Jamie Gittens and Filip Jorgensen are also expected to be unavailable for Chelsea's clash against United.

Levi Colwill will also be unavailable, but Rosenior explained that he hopes the defender will take the next step in his recovery from an ACL injury.
"I think Levi will play some minutes for the Under-21s tomorrow, which is fantastic for him," the Chelsea boss said.
"When you have a long-term injury, such as the extent of Levi's injury, you need a long rehab period. I want to make sure that he's 100% right in terms of his match fitness before we consider him for selection for our first team."
For United, they will also have some players on the sidelines for the clash against Chelsea this weekend.
Matthijs de Ligt remains unavailable with a back injury, while Patrick Dorgu is continuing to recover from a muscle injury which has kept him on the sidelines since January.
Lisandro Martinez is expected to serve a suspension following his red card against Leeds United on Monday night, while Harry Maguire also remains unavailable through suspension.
Kobbie Mainoo emerged as an injury concern for United after he missed the defeat to Leeds, with reports at the time claiming it was not a serious issue keeping him out. However, it remains to be seen if the midfielder will recover in time to feature against Chelsea.
