“A massive win” – Lorenzo’s instant reaction to Cagliari 0-1 AC Milan

AC Milan started 2026 in a very good way, clinching all three points against Cagliari, and Lorenzo believes it’s one of those that could have a massive impact on the season. 

After the 3-0 win against Hellas Verona, and with a packed schedule coming up, Milan were kind of forced to clinch another three points against Cagliari. Several key absences didn’t make things easier for Massimiliano Allegri and his men, with Rafael Leao even risking an injury.

In his post-match reaction, which was recorded straight after the full-time whistle, Lorenzo shared his thoughts on the game. While it was far from a fantastic performance, especially in the first half, Milan managed to get the job done in the end.

It’s one of those games that could have a massive impact, because it truly was a massive win, with Milan sending a strong signal to their Scudetto rivals. Starting the year off with a defeat certainly would have been a huge blow, but instead the Rossoneri proved themselves as a team in times of adversity.
