AC Milan want to sign £65m Tottenham star who has played just one game this season

AC Milan are interested in signing an experienced Tottenham star, who Thomas Frank has said he is a big fan of.

Tottenham’s injury list appears to be growing every week, with Frank having to make do without several key players.

One of those long-term injuries was very unexpected, with Dominic Solanke eventually undergoing surgery on his ankle at the start of this month after the injury proved much trickier than Spurs initially thought.

The England international, whom Tottenham spent a club record £65m on in the summer of 2024, has now become a top target for a Serie A giant.

AC Milan want to sign Dominic Solanke from Tottenham

Milan Live are now reporting that AC Milan are now seriously considering a January move for the Spurs striker.

The Italian club are keen to add a number nine to their squad, and Massimiliano Allegri sees Solanke as the right fit.

The report claims that Spurs are ready to cash in on the former Bournemouth man, who has been restricted to just two substitute appearances due to his injury problems this season.

It is alleged that Milan may look to sign Solanke on an initial loan deal with an option to buy, with the club having been a fan of the England man for a long time.

All indications are that Spurs will not consider selling Solanke

Despite the criticism that came the centre-forward’s way last season, he ended his first season at Tottenham with 24 goal contributions across all competitions, even though he spent some time on the treatment table.

In fact, in his first interview as Spurs head coach, Frank named Solanke as one of the players he is looking forward to working with the most, backing the centre-forward to score a lot of goals this season.

Add to this the fact that none of Richarlison, Mathys Tel and Randal Kolo Muani have impressed means that it is highly unlikely the Lilywhites would consider selling their record purchase in January.
