Alan Shearer has predicted Tottenham will fire interim manager Igor Tudor if it loses against Liverpool on Sunday.
The Reds host their crisis-ridden rivals at Anfield this weekend, with both sides needing to win for very different reasons. While Arne Slot’s team could do with a boost in their quest to qualify for next season’s Champions League, Spurs are fighting just to stay in the Premier League.
The North London club sits just a point above the relegation zone ahead of the weekend, and could well kick off on Merseyside in the bottom three, with West Ham and Nottingham Forest playing before them.

Amid yet more unrest at Tottenham, Shearer thinks the 47-year-old’s time might be up if Liverpool wins on Sunday.
“Well, it could be two of the biggest months in the Spurs’ history,” Shearer told Betfair. My guess is if they get beaten at Anfield at the weekend, that might be an excuse for them to get rid of him. I don't know, I'm guessing.
“But looking at Spurs and looking at what's going on, you can't realistically see them going to Anfield and getting anything. Then they've got Forest, and then there's an international break.

“I know they've got Atletico Madrid in between that, but my guess is that that tie is done, and they might even have to accept they're out before that game and look forward to Forest rather than try and claw back that result.
“So yeah, if they get beaten this weekend, my guess is they might be looking for a new manager. In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if they're already speaking to one.”
Although there have been some calls for Tottenham to fire Tudor before Sunday’s game, the Croatian is set to take charge again at Anfield, having undertaken his media duties on Friday.

Shearer though believes the former Juventus boss has only made things worse for Spurs, and has left them staring down the barrel of relegation.
“I know it's been a mess for a while, but I think Tudor was brought in to try and calm things down and bring a bit of stability, but it seems as if it's getting worse,” Shearer said.
“It seems like a fractured dressing room and the players are not responding to him. They've got Liverpool away this weekend too, goodness me, there is a real live chance that Spurs could be relegated.”
He added: “It just looks a complete and utter mess at Spurs at the minute. And it seems to be getting worse because there does seem to be a fractured dressing room, and when that happens, you're in big trouble.”
