Ahead of the game against Roma, Massimiliano Allegri admitted that he doesn’t know exactly what to expect from fielding Rafael Leao and Christopher Nkunku together in attack.

Due to the injury crisis, Allegri has made several forced starting eleven decisions in the last few weeks. Tomorrow, as Milan will take on Roma, the manager will have to make at least one change compared to the eleven we saw against Atalanta mid-week.

A new attacking duo

During his pre-match press conference on Saturday morning, Allegri was asked about the potential Leao-Nkunku duo in attack after stating that the No.10 is in good condition. He admitted that he doesn’t know exactly what to expect, but that’s he’s curious to see how they will do.

“I’m also curious about them playing together. Sometimes you find unexpected solutions. They both know how to play football well, so they could do well together,” he stated.
