Allegri sheds light on Nkunku’s adaptation and Gimenez’s accelerated recovery

In today’s press conference, AC Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri spoke about the situation of his strikers, and there were certainly positives!

This has been a torrid season for Milan, at least where the attack has been concerned. With out of form players and injuries, Allegri has rarely had a choice to make with his front line, and this has certainly had an impact.

Of course, there have been bright spells for a few players. Rafael Leao and Christian Pulisic have looked superb when fit, yet they have rarely been fit at the same time. Then, Christopher Nkunku has started 2026 strongly.

“It’s a matter of settling in; he’s a sensitive guy. I joked: if you laugh more, things go better. Fortunately, things are going well, but he has an extraordinary technique. Getting everyone back is crucial for the end of the season.”
