This evening, an update has been offered as AC Milan await an answer over the future of Rasmus Hojlund.
Manchester United’s game against Arsenal this weekend could be huge for Milan, with reports stating earlier today that Hojlund’s involvement, or lack of, could seal his future away from the Red Devils. If he is not given a chance for the second game running, it would be a clear sign.
In this case, he would be more interested in a move to Italy, where Massimiliano Allegri is considering phoning the striker to seek his preferences and reassure him of the plans for him in the Rossoneri.
Amorim’s admission
When asked about the situation during a press conference today, United head coach Ruben Amorim was, as expected, rather coy, keeping his cards close to his chest about the weekend’s tactics and then the Dane’s future, as MilanNews relays.
“It’s an additional option [to play him]. We’ll see. We’re focused on the match, and Rasmus is still our player.”
Hojlund remains unconvinced of leaving Manchester, but if he is not going to feature, he will have his mind made up for him.
