Carlo Ancelotti has been in football longer than many have been alive, and the former AC Milan head coach has today spoken about a few things.
Starting his career in Parma in 1976, Ancelotti has been in football for almost 50 years and has seen almost everything that the game can offer. Having played and managed top clubs, he understands the game on a level that many dream of.
Ancelotti’s comments
Before the summer, there were rumours of a romantic return for Don Carlo. However, he headed to manage the Brazilian National Team, whilst Massimiliano Allegri was given his own romantic return to San Siro.
So far, the Italian has Milan fighting at the top of Serie A, and now there are hopes to win the Scudetto, as Christian Pulisic has stated. Ancelotti has previously spoken about the title, and today, he commented on Allegri and his former player Luka Modric, as Spazio Milan relayed.
“Milan are doing well, taking advantage of a major advantage—the fact that they aren’t playing in Europe—and Allegri’s practicality. Max has simplified what many try to complicate. It doesn’t take much.”

Modric…
“I’m very happy that he’s staying at such a high level , and that’s not surprising at all. I knew he’d do well because he’s aiming for the World Cup, he plays once a week, and last year, in my Madrid team, he was the only player who didn’t miss a single training session.
It’s all about genetics and dedication; it’s simple. Is he stronger, or is the league too weak? Let’s not joke, he remains at a very high level, he’s still one of the best midfielders around. I read that there’s talk of another year on his contract; he can do it without any problems.”
