Ancelotti thinks Milan have Scudetto chance without ‘the cups’: “They can do it”

AC Milan are in the Scudetto conversation, and it would be very difficult to suggest otherwise at this moment, especially after another win this weekend.

The goals for Milan are a Champions League place and a strong representation of themselves in the cups. This message has been relayed by several members of the squad and Massimiliano Allegri himself.

However, it has always been hinted that there were lofty ambitions. When Adrien Rabiot arrived, he admitted the same as his teammates, but mentioned a multi-year plan, with the aim of silverware, it seemed.

Scudetto chances?

Now, the Rossoneri could get ahead of themselves, with a Scudetto fight looking like a genuine possibility. It is still early doors, but they have only dropped two points against Juventus, Napoli and Roma.

“The Serie A championship seems more balanced than last year. Napoli is at the top right now, but it’s difficult to manage a double commitment. Milan? Like Roma, they’re two teams that have improved a lot. Inter is strong, but I can’t say if they’re the strongest of the rest.”
