Chelsea take on Leeds United in the FA Cup semi-final later in the month with Andrey Santos describing it as a 'dream' to play at Wembley

Andrey Santos has described it as a "dream" come true for Chelsea to book a date at Wembley later this month in the FA Cup semi-final.

The Blues will take on Leeds United at England's national stadium in a few weeks' time as the long-time rivals battle for a place in the final. For a lot of Chelsea players, including Santos, it will be their first opportunity to play at the iconic Wembley Stadium.

"For me, it's a dream," said Santos. "I have played at Maracana, now I have the chance to play at Wembley. I am very happy and I hope we can do our job and win the game there."

On the win over Port Vale, the Brazilian added: "I'm very happy with our performance, it was a big win and a good performance. Now we have to move on and recover well, because next week we have another big game.

"Now we have to work hard because next week we have a very important home game against Manchester City, and we will have to focus on ourselves and do our job. That is the most important thing for us."

Santos' Chelsea colleague Jorrel Hato will also play at Wembley for the first time later this month. The Netherlands international, who like Santos scored in the 7-0 thumping of Port Vale over the weekend, described it as a "dream come true" on a personal level.

Hato said: "It will be a dream come true to play at Wembley. It's always difficult [against lower league teams in the FA Cup], but we played well from the back, the tempo was fast and we created many chances across the 90 minutes. We scored seven goals, so really it was the perfect game."

Chelsea will go into the semi-final as big favourites but they failed to beat Leeds in their two matches this season. The Whites won 3-1 at Elland Road in December before the two teams played out a 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge in February.

This month's semi-final will be the first time Liam Rosenior has managed a team at Wembley as well. The Chelsea head coach said: "That's what you dream of, but people keep asking me questions about what does it mean for me.

"I'm manager and head coach of a huge club where it's deemed normal for us to be in that situation. So I'll think about Wembley when we're there. We've got a huge game against Manchester City next Sunday that my focus is fully on now."
