Adidas has produced three Liverpool strips so far since it took over from Nike as the Reds' kit manufacturer this summer, and each has gone down a storm.
This week, Liverpool's third kit for the 2025/26 season, with the outfield version a striking green color and the goalkeeper edition a sleek black design, was officially unveiled. Before that, the red (home) and white (away) jerseys have sold well.
As well as the green third strip and the all-black goalkeeper kit, Liverpool has also unveiled an extensive training range, fashionable culture wear, hats and accessories, and an LFC Gazelle trainer — all of which are likely to fly off the shelves.
But things never sit still for long. And just days after the final Liverpool shirt for this season was made public, designs for next year have already been linked on social media.
The Liverpool third kit for 2026/27, according to @FumlerRawk on X, will be black and silver. It will have a "pattern mixing the checkered flags of the Kop and the Liverbird".
Liverpool's flagship club store — outside The Kop and Main Stand at Anfield — had its busiest ever week after the initial launch. The newly refurbished outlet saw record footfall.
Liverpool's record signing, Florian Wirtz, who came in for a fee that could reach around $155 million (£116 million) from Bayer Leverkusen earlier in the summer, was the number one best seller for name and number printing on newly purchased shirts in the first seven days.
Fellow new signing Alexander Isak is likely to attract a similar level of interest after arriving from Newcastle United. His debut could come against Burnley while wearing the green strip.
This is the third time that Liverpool has worn Adidas shirts. It first happened between 1985 and 1996, and then again from 2006 to 2012. During those periods, the Reds won three top-flight league titles and three FA Cups.

The latest designs are available in both a short-sleeve and long-sleeve version, giving fans more choice than ever before. The home shirt features a clean all-red colorway, with the trademark white Adidas three stripes down the sleeves.
The away top is a nod to some classic Liverpool away shirts, featuring an off-white base with bold black and red detailing. The Liver Bird is framed within a shield, a design inspired by the shape of Anfield’s Main Stand from 1906.
Ben Latty, chief commercial officer at Liverpool, said when the home and away kits were launched: "This is more than just the launch of a new kit — it marks the beginning of a 10-year relationship for LFC and Adidas.
"Since announcing the partnership in March, there’s been a huge sense of anticipation and excitement. This first collection sets the tone for seasons to come."
