Antoine Semenyo is said to be 'frustrated' by reports claiming he wants to leave Bournemouth during the January transfer window.
The striker has enjoyed an excellent campaign so far, finding the net six times in the Premier League for the Cherries. With only Erling Haaland and Igor Thiago having scored more goals than Semenyo this season, rumors have intensified regarding his future on the south coast.
A number of top-flight heavyweights are understood to be keeping tabs on his progress, with Manchester United, Manchester City, Tottenham and Liverpool all said to be keen on securing his services. This has prompted fans across the country to question whether Semenyo will remain at Bournemouth for the 2026/27 campaign.
However, Sky Sports suggest that Semenyo is content at the Vitality Stadium and feels 'frustrated' by reports indicating he's asked to move on.
When questioned by Jamie Redknapp about his future recently, the Ghana international said: "I don't think about it too much. I try to stay present as much as I can. You see the news all the time, I see it as well, I'm not oblivious, but I try to keep focused.
"I'm enjoying my football here. If I'm not scoring goals, all of that goes away. I try to stay present, do the best I can for the team, score goals and whatever happens in the future happens. When they [his former team-mates] all left [in the summer], there was a lot of interest and back and forth with the club.
"But I knew in my head that the manager's got something up his sleeve this year. How we finished off the season last year was so good and we could continue, especially with the players we've bought in as well.
"I wasn't too sure at the start but we've kicked on like a house on fire. I'm glad I committed to staying here because I'm enjoying every moment."
After netting an impressive 13 goals across all competitions last season, Semenyo found himself at the centre of transfer rumours suggesting a potential blockbuster move to Manchester United during the summer transfer window.
However, no deal came to fruition, with the Red Devils instead opting to sign Bryan Mbeumo. Meanwhile, Tottenham - who had also been linked with Semenyo - chose to bring in Mohammed Kudus from West Ham in a £55million transfer.
Even without Semenyo, Liverpool do possess a potent front-line but they've yet to click this season. Mohamed Salah is the club's league top scorer with four goals, with Cody Gakpo and Hugo Ekitike closely behind with three.
Alexander Isak and Florian Wirtz have yet to open their Premier League account for the Reds but will have their next opportunity next Sunday when Liverpool host Nottingham Forest.
