Arne Slot given yet another headache as Liverpool star earns one-game ban

22 hours ago 7

Arne Slot has been handed another selection headache as Conor Bradley picks up a one-game ban against Brighton.

The Liverpool defender, who has only just returned from injury, picked up a yellow card for a late challenge on Leeds' Ethan Ampadu and will now miss Liverpool’s next Premier League fixture.

In the Premier League, players who accumulate five yellow cards within the first 19 games of the season face a one-match suspension. The threshold then rises to ten bookings across the opening 32 games, with any player reaching ten cautions receiving a two-game ban.

The right-back also risks a suspension in the Champions League, where players are automatically banned for one match after receiving three yellow cards.
