Arne Slot said Mohamed Salah has reacted excellently to being dropped from the side during Sunday's defeat to West Ham United, but said
Slot is now facing a dilemma over whether to recall the winger for the midweek match against Sunderland, but was giving little away in Tuesday's win press conference.
"I haven’t thought so much about that because we have had a recovery session and we train today so let’s see," said the Dutchman.
"It’s a normal reaction that is good enough to play for us. He has been outstanding for this club for many years. Of course a player isn't happy to not be starting. He was not teh only one. His reaction was excellent.
"A player cannot be available every game. Mo is so disciplined."
