Arsenal are making moves in the summer transfer window and Andrea Berta isn't expected to stop despite spending in the region of £120 millon.
Noni Madueke became signing number four of the summer on Friday night after completing his £48.5m including add-ons move from Chelsea. The forward joins Christian Norgaard, Kepa Arrizabalaga and Martin Zubimendi through the door with more new faces anticipated.
Defender Cristhian Mosquera is set to bolster Mikel Arteta's defensive options but a new striker is the priority in north London. Here, football.london takes a look at some of the latest transfer rumours on this Saturday morning:
Gyokeres alternative 'monitored'
Viktor Gyokeres is the number one target for Arsenal and it's understood they remain in talks with Sporting CP to get a deal over the line. However, alternatives are expected to be considered.
Mainz's Nelson Weiper has emerged as a candidate to be turned to if a deal for Gyokeres collapses, according to Football Transfers. The 20-year-old is said to have impressed the Gunners but no formal approach has been made yet.
Weiper impressed with Germany in the U21 European Championship this summer with four goals. Brentford and Tottenham are also keeping tabs.
football.london says: "Weiper isn't a striker that Arsenal need to be looking at as a solution right now. If they decide to sell Gabriel Jesus, the Mainz star could be a contender to come in as competition for Gyokeres.
"The Gunners require world-class talent and Weiper slots into the category of 'up-and-coming'. It's hard to see a world in which Arteta turns to a player with only five Bundesliga goals to his name."

Man United 'serious' about Sesko
There doesn't seem to be a passing day in which Manchester United and Arsenal aren't linked with the same striker and Benjamin Sesko is a new name said to be on United's radar.
With the Gunners plotting a move for Gyokeres, Sesko is available and according to GiveMeSport, the RB Leipzig striker 'wants ' to move to Old Trafford despite their lack of European football.
Ruben Amorim's side are also 'understood to be admirers of Sesko's all-round game' with United scrambling for a new centre-forward.
football.london says: "It would make sense wouldn't it? The first day of the Premier League season, United vs Arsenal and Sesko vs Gyokeres. Arsenal grew frustrated at the lack of movement for Sesko and have opted for Gyokeres, they'll be hoping it doesn't come back to haunt them
"It's hard to see how United are affording Sesko. However, if Sesko does move to Manchester, it would leave the door open for Arsenal to feel red-faced."
