Arsenal are focusing on outgoings as the summer transfer window reaches its final fortnight.
football.london understands that talks are continuing with Stuttgart over Fabio Vieira. Arsenal, though, are not negotiating from a position of strength as interest is not forthcoming for their players, while the club are under pressure to move on fringe members of the squad sooner rather than later.
Albert Sambi Lokonga, Jakub Kiwior, Karl Hein, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Reiss Nelson and Vieira were absent from the Sunday matchday squad at Old Trafford. Leandro Trossard did not feature from the substitutes bench, either. Instead, Noni Madueke replaced Gabriel Martinelli.
Vieira appears closest to a move, with The Athletic reporting that discussions centre around a loan. They add that negotiations over that deal also include an obligation to make the move permanent should Vieira satisfy performance-related targets.

Both clubs are said to have discussed a figure worth around £17million. The Sun reports that Arsenal want to recoup as much of the £30million they paid Porto three years ago, but have already reduced their valuation to £25million.
Stuttgart, however, are reputedly only willing to do a deal around £17million inclusive of add-ons. It is said that the Bundesliga club would pursue other targets if the Gunners continue to hold out for a higher price, as they need to replace Enzo Millot, who they sold to Al-Ahli earlier this month.
Any chance of Arsenal making a seventh signing of this transfer window relies on sporting director Andrea Berta sanctioning departures. Acquiring a left winger such as Rodrygo would be the dream scenario.
However, the club would have to conduct significant business before then to match what Real Madrid would want for the Brazil international. Vieira would be one of the fringe players Arsenal could still conceivably receive a significant fee for this summer.
