A look at the Arsenal team Mikel Arteta may select to take on Brighton on Wednesday evening in the Premier League
Arsenal take on Brighton in the Premier League looking to build on their success in back-to-back London derby victories. The Gunners will be kicking off at the same time as Manchester City, something which so rarely happens outside of the final game of the league season.
After the win over Chelsea at the weekend, some players’ fitness is in question. We could see some rotation, but equally, there is an FA Cup clash on Saturday against League One Mansfield Town, where we could see changes.
It’s a very hard game to make a prediction on the team. That said, we’ve given it a go and expect some changes from the side that won against Chelsea on Sunday.

Here is who football.london is predicting to start against the Seagulls:
David Raya
After some more heroics, the Spaniard is firmly now in some strong form, and that will be useful against a threatening Brighton side.
Jurrien Timber
That week off clearly did the Dutchman the world of good, and his winning goal against Chelsea was just the tip of a really good performance.
William Saliba
The Frenchman also got on the scoresheet and has history in this fixture after giving away a penalty previously in controversial circumstances.
Gabriel
The Brazilian has not been scoring too much lately, but remains a pivotal part of the Arsenal starting back line.
Piero Hincapie
The Ecuadorian has made the left-back slot his own, and Riccardo Calafiori will likely have to make his argument at Mansfield this weekend.
Martin Zubimendi
The Spaniard looked shattered against Chelsea and ended the game limping. Many have called, fairly, for Christian Norgaard, but with the FA Cup weekend to come, it’s likely Zubimendi starts.
Declan Rice
A little bit of a dip in form lately from the usually impeccable Rice, perhaps from tiredness, but he will hope to get a rest this weekend.
Bukayo Saka
I think we could see another showing from Bukayo Saka in the number ten role after what has occurred this week.
Noni Madueke
After more than a week off, the winger seems primed to come back in, and similarly to at Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest, we might see a rotation of wingers.
Viktor Gyokeres
Blanked against Chelsea, but was finding some form and needs another big performance on the south coast.
Gabriel Martinelli
The rotation of wingers naturally also means the Brazilian comes in to replace Leandro Trossard who endured a torrid game against Chelsea.
