Good afternoon and welcome to our coverage of the latest Arsenal press conference, where Mikel Arteta and William Saliba will speak to the media.
The Gunners are back in action in the Champions League on Wednesday when they take on Olympiacos at the Emirates Stadium. Arteta saw his side win their opening game of the competition 2-0 at Athletic Bilbao.
Spirits will undoubtedly be high in the squad after events of recent days too. In their Premier League clash at Newcastle United, Arsenal snatched a last-gasp winner through Gabriel, cutting down the gap at the top of the table to just two points.
The club also confirmed on Tuesday that Saliba had agreed a new long-term contract amid transfer interest from Real Madrid.
The man himself and Arteta will no doubt be asked about that big news, as well as the latest injury news ahead of a key game. Arsenal trained in front of the cameras on Tuesday afternoon, with Noni Madueke and Piero Hincapie the only two senior players to miss out.
Ryan Taylor will be in attendance to hear what Arteta and Saliba have to say ahead of the game. The press conference is set to get underway at 2:30 p.m. (BST).
