With Igor Tudor's future looking bleak, Tottenham could turn to another Premier League manager but they would face stiff competition
Bournemouth are reportedly preparing to open talks with Andoni Iraola in the upcoming international break amid potential interest from Tottenham and other Premier League clubs at the end of the season. Interim head coach Igor Tudor's immediate future at Spurs has been thrown into major doubt after a dismal run of four straight defeats.
The club have now lost six in a row for the first time in their history following Tuesday's 5-2 humiliation at Atletico Madrid in the Champions League. Sunday's trip to Anfield has become a must‑win as Spurs try to pull themselves away from the drop zone.
A move to appoint a new manager could soon be on the cards, and Iraola, whose current deal expires at the end of the season, has been discussed at Spurs, according to the i paper.
Before opting for Thomas Frank last summer, Tottenham had Iraola on their shortlist, and he is certain to feature in their thinking again if they manage to stay up.
The report adds that Bournemouth are keen to resolve Iraola's future before the end of the campaign, fully aware of how highly-rated he is.

The south‑coast board are said to believe they have shown real ambition and done everything possible to match Iraola's own aspirations, even in a season where they have had to sell players to comply with the pressures of Profitability and Sustainability Rules (PSR).
However, it's noted that talks over a new deal began 'over a year ago' and Bournemouth have yet to make a breakthrough, a sign that Iraola may be keeping his options open.
For now, discussions are said to be on hold, with Iraola focused on securing another top‑10 finish.
With the March international break approaching, and a three‑week gap in the Cherries' schedule, that period is viewed as the ideal window to reopen negotiations.
Bournemouth remain hopeful that, after seeing the fortunes of fellow up‑and‑coming managers like Frank and Ange Postecoglou, Iraola will decide that staying at a stable club with a well‑defined structure is the right move.
Beyond Spurs, Iraola is also attracting interest from Crystal Palace, who will see Oliver Glasner depart at the end of the season.
Manchester United are also mentioned as having an interest in Iraola if they decide not to appoint interim head coach Michael Carrick on a permanent basis.
