Arsenal have had their Premier League title prospects assessed ahead of tonight's trip to Brighton, following their 2-1 win over Chelsea at the weekend. The Gunners sit five points clear of Manchester City, who still have a game in hand against Crystal Palace.

City's fixture was postponed due to their involvement in the Carabao Cup final, where they will face Mikel Arteta's side on March 22 at Wembley. In the league, City kept up the pressure with a narrow 1-0 win at Leeds United on Saturday.

Wednesday night's match at Brighton gives Arsenal another chance to strengthen their position before this weekend's FA Cup fifth‑round tie against Mansfield. City are also in action tonight, hosting Nottingham Forest at the Etihad.

When it comes to the Premier League, Opta Analyst have released a fresh prediction for how they expect the final table to look on May 24. Their model still has Arsenal winning the title, finishing on 82 points (82.71).

By comparison, City have just a 16.29 percent chance of overtaking Arsenal in the title race. Elsewhere, Aston Villa, who were overtaken by Manchester United after their 2–0 defeat at Wolves, are projected to finish third on 67 points (67.13).

With a crucial few weeks ahead, Arteta has urged his players to keep fighting, warning that any slip‑up could prove decisive. "We had that feeling for a long time [the run-in has started]," he told Sky Sports after the Chelsea win.

"That feeling when you have to continue to win and win and win. You win so many games and it is not enough to open the gap. That is the beauty of this league."
