Arsenal take on Manchester City at Wembley Stadium, looking to win their first piece of silverware since 2020 in the Carabao Cup final. Mikel Arteta is taking on his former mentor Pep Guardiola once again as the two Premier League title rivals go head-to-head in this domestic cup clash.
The Gunners are the team in much better form, having progressed to the last eight of the UEFA Champions League, whereas City found themselves dumped out by Real Madrid. Furthermore, after back-to-back draws in the Premier League, the Gunners have exploited the dip in their rivals’ form and opened a nine-point lead at the top of the table.
Jurrien Timber and Martin Odegaard were both spotted in Arsenal training pictures ahead of the match, having previously been out injured. Meanwhile, Marc Guehi misses the match due to being cup-tied, but Antoine Semenyo is available to play.
