Arsenal face Nottingham Forest at the Emirates Stadium as Ange Postecoglou returns to North London for his first match in charge of his new club. Mikel Arteta has managed three victories and a draw from his four meetings with the Australian and will be targeting another win here.
Buoyed by the positive international break, which thankfully did not see any players suffer a fitness concern, he also welcomed new signing Piero Hincapie to the group for the first time. William Saliba managed to train with the side on Friday and joins Ben White and Christian Norgaard, who have also returned from injury.
Both sides have longer-term issues. For Forest, Nicolas Dominguez and, more recently, Ola Aina are out for Postecoglou. Bukayo Saka remains missing and joins Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus out of this match.
It could be a first time we see Eberechi Eze start for the Gunners and after his first goal for England there is excitement surrounding Noni Madueke’s form.
