Atalanta CEO offers update on Musah pursuit: “We’ll see in the next few hours”

It seemed a deal for Yunus Musah’s AC Milan exit could be dead in the water after the Ardon Jashari news, but that may not be the case.

In the past few days, the Musah situation has been one that has been difficult to unpack. He has been staying and going several times, and there is now a point where no one really knows what is happening with things going quiet.

However, things could start to move after Atalanta’s game this evening, given the Rossoneri have already played, so there is nothing for either party to focus on, barring the mercato’s ending.

Musah talks to resume

Speaking ahead of their game tonight to DAZN (via MilanNews), much like Igli Tare did before Lecce last night, the CEO of La Dea spoke about the mercato, and specifically about Musah.

“Musah is a Milan player, we’ll see in the next few hours. What I can say is that we’re talking to Milan, but right now we’re very focused on the match.”

Considering Allegri is the one who will decide the future of the midfielder, both managements will hope the Italian chooses an exit. Perhaps, other routes may turn the table. However, a decision is seemingly expected tonight.
