This morning, the ‘Here we go’ was delivered as AC Milan have agreed a deal for Christopher Nkunku, but there is more to the deal.
In the past 24 hours, if that, things with Christopher Nkunku have progressed at a rapid pace. The Frenchman became an interest and then things flew from there. Now, just 14 hours after the initially reported interest, Milan have agreed a deal.
Before Fabrizio Romano reported that a deal was done, he stated that the operation would close for more than €30 million, and it seems that the deal has closed at €35m plus bonuses. However, some more information has become available.
Terms of the deal
As The Athletic reports, the deal has been finalised at €42m, including bonuses, which are presumably related to the Frenchman’s performances, as well as club performances. Though there is another intriguing addition.

The Diavolo have agreed to a sell-on clause being inserted into the package, though there is no figure currently available for what percentage this will be of a deal.
At 27 and with a five-year deal agreed, it is difficult to see much upside to this clause being inserted. However, Massimiliano Allegri has his new forward, whom he hopes will make things click.
