Ball in Milan’s court as Muani to Juve could push Vlahovic towards exit

Juventus are reportedly closing in on an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain over Randal Kolo Muani, which could potentially push AC Milan target Dusan Vlahovic towards an exit.

Earlier today, it was reported that Milan’s pursuit of Conrad Harder had hit a significant stalemate, with the player still considering other clubs and Sporting Lisbon refusing to give the green light. Subsequently, Dusan Vlahovic was named as the new No.1 target for the attack.

However, the financial aspect of the Vlahovic signing has always held Milan back, with CEO Giorgio Furlani wary of the spending. Nevertheless, there are only a few days left of the mercato and there could soon be an opening for Vlahovic.

Milan must make a decision

As reported by Matteo Moretto, Juventus and PSG are now ‘close’ to reaching an agreement over Randal Kolo Muani. The deal is expected to be a €5m paid loan with an obligation to buy at €55m, with the clubs in ‘close contact’ to get everything over the line.

Considering that Juventus also have Jonathan David and Arkadiusz Milik within their ranks, they will hardly push to keep Vlahovic after Muani’s arrival. In fact, they will probably be eager to part ways with the Serbian as he earns €12m per season.

All of this means that the ball is in Milan’s court. They must decide whether to make a serious attempt for Vlahovic or not, knowing that a salary of €6-7m per year plus a transfer fee of €15-20m would be needed.
