Bartesaghi previews Sassuolo clash and reveals what he gave Jashari as Secret Santa

Ahead of the game between AC Milan and Sassuolo, Davide Bartesaghi spoke to the media about the task at hand, making his ninth league start of the season.

Baertsaghi has been one of the exclamation marks so far this season, quickly overtaking Pervis Estupinan in the pecking order on the left flank. Today, as confirmed by the starting eleven, he will make his ninth league start of the season.

Speaking to DAZN just a few minutes ago, as transcribed by MilanNews, the left-back was asked about the difficulty of this fixture (at least historically). He also revealed what he gave in the Secret Santa game the team had at Milanello recently.

Are you superstitious? Today’s opponent is historically tough…

“I’m a bit superstitious; I have my own pre-match things to do. We need to go out there like we’ve done in other games because they’re almost always the same. You have to come in with the right attitude and give it your all.”

We know you had a Secret Santa game at Milanello. What did you give?

“I gave Jashari a sweater to welcome him to Italy. He told me he liked it, so I’m happy about that.”

With Rafael Leao out injured, it will be even more important for Bartesaghi to go on his overlapping runs. He has proved to be a good crosser this season but against Torino, he certainly could have done that better.
