AC Milan have one of the smallest squads in Serie A in terms of numbers, but Massimiliano Allegri continues to find new resources within it.
For some time, there were question marks about what the summer window brought to Milan. The squad underwent a big downsizing to just 19 outfield players, and the new signings certainly took some time to adapt.
Fast-forward to the present though, and everyone is playing their part. Koni De Winter is in great form, Zachary Athekame impressed a lot on his last start, Ardon Jashari is showing his €38m potential, Samuele Ricci is trusted more, and nobody has more goals for Milan in 2026 than Christopher Nkunku.
The credit must go to the players for not shying away from the challenge of adapting to a new and big club, but also to Allegri for giving them the right platform to succeed. Where will it take the Rossoneri? The crucial part of the season will tell us.
