Marko Lazetic is now just one step away from completing his move to Aberdeen, expected to arrive in Scotland today ahead of medical tests tomorrow, according to a report.
The move has been on the cards for quite some time now, with the reports first emerging at the end of July, but some bureaucratic issues delayed proceedings. Now, however, everything seems to have been untangled.
According to Luca Bendoni who first broke the story, Lazetic will land in Scotland today and he will undergo his medical tests tomorrow. Then, if all goes to plan with the medical, he will sign a contract with the Scottish side.
A familiar formula
As the journalist continues, Milan have agreed to let the 21-year-old leave on a permanent basis, and there will be no transfer fee involved either. Instead, the Rossoneri have inserted a future resale clause ‘of up to 50%’.

It’s a very familiar formula for Milan as the same was done with Mattia Liberali recently, who joined Catanzaro, while Daniel Maldini move with the same formula last summer. We actually wrote a longer bonus article on this specific topic and why the Rossoneri feel the formula is beneficial.
While his time at Milan was far from a success, as such, the management is still hoping that they can recoup some of the money invested in time.
