Bianchin: Milan reflecting on Boniface deal with cancellation chances increasing

After the defeat to Cremonese, AC Milan need a striker. However, they may turn their back on someone who is ready to come in.

It is never simple with Milan, ever. Now, that is being proved once again. This week, a move for Victor Boniface grew in likelihood quickly, and a deal was all but done as the Rossoneri prepared for the weekend.

However, the club opted to do extreme medical tests to ensure that their new signing would be able to be present when needed. His knee, especially, has been the area of focus, and now it seems that a decision may arrive soon.

Boniface: Chances falling

As Luca Bianchin reports on X, the Nigerian is preparing to return to Germany and will do so later today (Sunday). In the meantime, the Rossoneri are ‘reflecting’ about the deal, which they have yet to close with Bayer Leverkusen.

The reasoning? Well, they are not sure, and the deal being terminated is a ‘sharply increasing’ chance. Conrad Harder is still an option, as is the idea of bringing in two strikers. With time passing, though, it seems more and more likely that Boniface may not be Milan’s man.

If so, it is more time wasted. After last night, there is no time to waste.
